Hubungan antara Perceived Anonymity dengan Cyber Aggression pada Dewasa Awal Pengguna Media Sosial X

Abstract

Cyber aggression menjadi sebuah permasalahan yang sering ditemukan dalam interaksi online di media sosial akibat hilangnya hambatan perilaku daring yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor psikologis berupa persepsi anonimitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara perceived anonymity dengan cyber aggression pada dewasa awal pengguna media sosial X. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional dengan 175 responden berusia 18-25 tahun yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian meliputi skala Cyber Aggression Types Questionnaire (CATQ) dan skala Perceived Anonymity. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi sederhana Spearman’s rho (p < 0.05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan secara statistik, meskipun kekuatan hubungannya tergolong lemah (r = 0.1567; p = 0.038). Hasil ini menyatakan bahwa semakin tinggi persepsi anonimitas yang dimiliki pengguna, maka semakin tinggi kecenderungannya untuk terlibat dalam perilaku cyber aggression. Namun, lemahnya korelasi mengindikasikan bahwa pengguna cenderung jarang terlibat melakukan perilaku agresif siber di media sosial X. Dengan demikian, cyber aggression yang dapat dijelaskan oleh perceived anonymity hanya memberikan efek kecil dan sebagai salah satu variasi diantara faktor lainnya.
